November 22, 2023

Police want to trace a man over incidents in which women in south London were followed and grabbed.

A woman fought off a man who approached her as she entered a property on Barrington Road, Brixton, around 10.50pm on 10 October.

On 17 November, a woman noticed a man following her on Sisters Avenue near Clapham Junction at about 4am.

She shouted as he came close and he ran away, said Metropolitan Police.

The third incident was a mile away on 19 November, when a woman was grabbed on Sumburgh Road, close to Clapham South station, at about 1.40am.

She managed to escape but police are treating the three incidents as linked.

Detectives want to urgently trace the man, described as white and slim, between 25-30, with short blond hair.
