The owners of a trampoline park in Swansea have said they are "heartbroken" after a major fire broke out at the site.

Limitless Inflata Park Swansea said in a statement on its Facebook page it would be "closed until further notice due to a fire".

"We will be in touch with all future bookings when we can but please bear with us," the statement added.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said six crews were called to an incident on Langdon Road in the city at 9.46pm on Sunday.

The crews from Swansea Central, Swansea West, Morriston, Port Talbot, Neath and Tumble attended the single-storey industrial unit which was "well alight".

The fire service said the fire spread quickly and "broke through the roof of the building".

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service lent equipment to assist with the incident.

The fire was extinguished using two aerial appliances as water towers, two water bowsers, one high volume pumping unit, two breathing apparatus sets, six thermal imaging cameras and three main jets.
