The father, stepmother and uncle of the 10-year-old have appeared in court charged with her murder.

Urfan Sharif, 41, his partner Beinash Batool, 29, and his brother, Faisal Malik, 28, all of Hammond Road, Woking, are also accused of causing or allowing the death of a child.

Appearing at Guildford Magistrates Court, Sharif wore a grey prison issue tracksuit, Batool was dressed in black and Malik wore a red T-shirt and blue jeans.

They did not enter formal pleas but indicated they will be denying charges and were remanded in custody.

It follows their arrest on Wednesday evening at Gatwick Airport as they disembarked a flight from Dubai.

The trio had travelled to Pakistan a day before police discovered Sara's body at her home in Woking on 10 August.
