A major search has taken place after a person was swept into the water from rocks in Anglesey.
The operation took place at Trearddur Bay in North Wales after a 'serious police incident' was reported at Ravens Point on Saturday.
The Maritime and Coastguard Agency confirmed the search was under way on Sunday, but later released a statement saying the rescue operation had been "stood down".
"An HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopter was sent from Caernarfon as well as RNLI lifeboats from Treaddur Bay," the statement read.
"Coastguard Rescue Teams were involved from Cemaes, Holyhead, Moelfre, Penmon and Rhosneigr. The search was stood down shortly before 4pm.
"North Wales Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service were also alerted. For further information, contact North Wales Police."
A HM Coastguard spokesperson added it is unlikely the search will resume, unless new information comes in.
