A manhunt has been launched after two teenagers were injured during a mass disturbance in East Dunbartonshire.
The force said the 18-year-old male youths were attacked by an adult man during the incident in Bishopbriggs on Saturday night.
The teens were taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "One of the youths remains in hospital with serious injuries. Medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
"The other youth sustained minor head injuries and was discharged following treatment."

Emergency services were alerted to the large-scale disturbance in Villafield Drive, near to Kirkintilloch Road, at around 7.45pm.
The police spokesperson added: "Enquiries into the incident are continuing."
