Brentford striker Ivan Toney is facing a lengthy ban after he admitted breaching Football Association betting rules.
The 26-year-old is understood to have pleaded guilty to many of the 262 charges issued by the FA last year, but has denied others.
FA rules ban players from betting on games or sharing information for betting purposes.
The alleged breaches took place between February 2017 and January 2021.
During the period in question, the striker was playing for Scunthorpe, Wigan, Peterborough and Brentford.
Officials at the FA will assess the Premier League player's response before a hearing date is set.
An Independent Regulatory Commission will then be responsible for reaching a verdict and deciding on any potential punishment.

Toney could be banned for at least six months, according to Sky Sports News.
Any ban could include the summer months, when domestic football is in its close season before the new season resumes around the start of August.
Toney received his first call-up for the England squad last September, although he has yet to win an international cap.
