Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie have been pictured with their newborn daughter Romy as they held Christmas video calls with COVID vaccine centre staff.
The prime minister and his wife beamed as they showed off their daughter, who was born on 9 December, during a number of calls from Chequers in Buckinghamshire.
While their pet dog Dilyn sprawled next to them on their sofa, the couple spoke to Dr Laura Mount, director of Central and West Warrington primary care network, who leads a vaccination team.
They then chatted to Tom Jones, from Rickmansworth, who attends RVS Rickmansworth lunch club and also cares for his wife, who has dementia.
The Johnson family's video call comes after the UK recorded 122,186 new cases of COVID and a further 137 deaths on Christmas Eve.
In his Christmas message to the nation, which was released on the same day, the prime minister encouraged people to get a booster jab.
He said: "Though the time for buying presents is theoretically running out, there is still a wonderful thing you can give your family and the whole country, and that is to get that jab, whether it is your first or second, or your booster.
"We have been getting that vaccination that protects us and stops us infecting others.
"And I hope I can be forgiven for taking pride in the immense spirit of neighbourliness that the people of this country have shown.
"Getting jabbed not just for themselves, for ourselves, but for friends and family and everyone we meet."
Mr and Mrs Johnson also have a son together, Wilfred, who was born in April last year.
