Queen Camilla's ex-husband Andrew Parker Bowles reportedly dating former Weakest Link host Anne Robinson

December 07, 2023

Anne Robinson, the former host of The Weakest Link, is dating the Queen's ex-husband Andrew Parker Bowles, according to reports.

Robinson, 79, has been dating the retired cavalry officer, aged 83, for the last year, according to The Sun.

She is best known for hosting the BBC's The Weakest Link game show, broadcast from 2000 to 2012, where she used a cut-throat approach making sharp remarks to contestants.

Her popular catchphrase to failing contestants was "you are the weakest link, goodbye" and she was dubbed the "Queen of Mean".

When asked about the alleged relationship, a representative for Robinson said: "I can only quote my boss, 'It's none of your business'".

Parker Bowles OBE and retired British Army officer married Camilla in 1973 where they had two children together, Tom and Laura, before divorcing in 1995.

The King, who was divorced from Diana, Princess of Wales in 1996, later wed Camilla at the Guildhall in Windsor in 2005.

Parker Bowles and the Queen have remained friends and he was among the selected guest list for the King's coronation earlier this year.

Reports from The Sun claim the Queen is said to be in support of his relationship with Robinson.

Following the BBC show, the TV presenter went on to host Channel 4's quiz show Countdown, becoming the first female to take the role, before stepping down in 2022.

Robinson has one daughter, Emma, from her first marriage to the late Charles Wilson, which broke down in 1973.

She divorced her second husband, John Penrose, in 2007.
