Will Ferrell goes viral after DJing at son's university party

October 10, 2023

Comedian Will Ferrell appeared to DJ his son's university party over the weekend.

The Elf star, 56, was spotted behind the decks at his eldest son's fraternity party at the University of Southern California (USC) on Saturday.

In videos posted on TikTok, he played Jay-Z and Kanye West's song N****s In Paris and Survivor's Eye of the Tiger to hundreds of university students.

The Jay Z and Kanye West track samples a clip of Ferrell's dialogue from the 2007 film Blades of Glory where he says: "No one knows what it means but it's provocative. It gets the people going."

The Step Brothers star is seen dancing along to the songs behind a set of DJ decks, wearing black headphones, a backward cap, sunglasses, and a black USC jacket.

Ferrell's son Magnus, 19, is a second-year student at the university where the actor also attended in the late 80s. He graduated in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in sports information.

In 2017, Ferrell delivered the commencement speech to the graduating class at USC and has also contributed to the university's first-ever full scholarship for the women's soccer team.

The party came ahead of an American football game between USC and the University of Arizona Wildcats on Saturday.

Ferrell and his wife Viveca Paulin have two other sons, 16-year-old Mattias and 13-year-old Axel.
