The 38-year-old royal will be attending the historic event, which will see his father Charles crowned King, and his stepmother, Camilla, crowned Queen Consort, at Westminster Abbey on Saturday.

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, will remain at home in Los Angeles to be with the couple's son Prince Archie on his fourth birthday.

Reflecting this, her figure will not be moved to the throne room but will remain in the awards party zone along with other US-based celebrities including Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Angelina Jolie and the Beckhams.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex waxworks were moved to the party zone in 2020, after the couple stepped back from royal duties and moved to California.

Pictured wearing a black and white suit, Prince Harry's smiling figurine will join those of the Prince of Wales, who also wears a black and white suit, and Catherine, Princess of Wales, wearing an emerald green gown.

King Charles's waxwork has been re-dressed in homage to the outfit he wore for the first state banquet of his reign, in November 2022.

A waxwork of Queen Camilla was unveiled last week, wearing a navy-blue floor-length gown and royal blue sash.

General manager at Madame Tussauds London, Tim Waters, said: "From today, Prince Harry has officially re-joined The Royal Palace experience at our attraction.

"The temporary move reflects the Duke of Sussex's participation in the coronation and ensures guests will be able to get up close to all members of the royal family attending this once-in-a-lifetime event.

"His figure will remain in The Royal Palace experience until the end of the coronation celebrations, after which he will take the short trip back to the attraction's Awards Party zone, to stand by his wife's side amongst our Hollywood A-listers."

Madame Tussauds introduced their new royal palace experience in the lead-up to the coronation, with visitors invited to sign a coronation book which will be preserved in its archives.

The waxwork of the late Queen has been reunited with the late Duke of Edinburgh as part of the experience.
