While 116 shops will continue trading, 75 will shut over the next four to six weeks - in addition to the seven immediate closures confirmed two weeks ago.
The nearly 500 roles will be made redundant due to the shop closures, The Body Shops administrators said, and affected staff will receive support with claims to the government's redundancy payments service.
The Body Shop had announced it entered administration and, as a result, was closing nearly half of its stores in the UK and cutting 40% of roles at its London headquarters.

Only The Body Shop UK is impacted by the administration as global franchises trade as normal.
As part of the restructuring, there will be a "renewed focus" on products, online sales channels and wholesale, the administrators added.
