Alongside the anniversary exhibition due to take place at the Town Hall on Saturday 6th April 2024, the Hornsea Town Council is running a photographic competition.
The competition is open to everyone who lives or visits Hornsea.
The subject of the pictures must be from one of the areas the Town Council manage.
For example:
Memorial Gardens
Mereside
Hall Garth Park
Elim Gardens
Edenfield Cemetery
Southgate Cemetery
The Town Hall
Ebor Avenue play area
Or any flower beds around the town centre.
The picture can be from any time over the last 50 years right up to the present day. They can only accept two pictures from each person entering.
The pictures will be judged by the Hornsea Mayor, Councillor Laura Embleton and will all be displayed at the Town Hall during the exhibition. A winner and runner up will be chosen. Both of these pictures will win a prize and will be published on the Hornsea Town Council website and Facebook page.
