Hornsea and surrounding villages are getting their very first Christmas tractor run on Saturday 9th December, and it’s all in aid of the Hornsea and Holderness Mini and Junior Section who are part of Hornsea RUFC, who are celebrating their centenary year, which is a massive achievement for any club.

The club is small, but successful, and always looking for new players to join their ranks.

The aim of this event is to raise some much needed funds for the Mini & Junior section while spreading a bit of Christmas cheer to the wider community.

The Christmas Road Run will be predominantly tractors but other vehicles are welcome, as long as they are "dressed up" for christmas.

The route is approximately 19 miles, travelling through Hornsea and local villages.

Entries are £15, this includes a hot supper and cuppa on return to the club house, passenger meal tickets can be purchased in advance for £5.

There will be a small prize awarded to the best
decorated vehicle.

Entry forms are available from Elaine Cook at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 07780 902496. To guarantee food, forms must be received back by 2 December 2023.
