The Spirits have awoken at Sewerby Hall, for those brave enough to take on the challenge…

Over this Halloween weekend from Thursday, 26 October - Tuesday, 31 October, there will be a chance to step inside historic Sewerby Hall and embark on a hair-raising walk-through adventure like no other.

This brand-new immersive scare attraction promises a heart-pounding experience for brave families, friends, and anyone daring enough to enter.

The Hall is completely transformed into a living ghost story, with spine-tingling special effects and live performers guiding visitors through a frighteningly good night of entertainment. This will be a thrilling walk-through experience that will keep visitors on edge!

The story behind Scareoween is called 'Blind Spirit'- guests will step into a fictional narrative set in the Victorian period, in which a psychic investigator called Edward Brooke has been called to the house to investigate a series of strange deaths and subsequent supernatural activity.

Guests will meet the residents of the house, both aristocratic and servile, as they walk through the story which culminates in a simulated séance in which the story, and its unexpected twist, is completed.

The production is designed and produced by AtmosFEAR! Scare Entertainment, Europe's biggest scare entertainment company, who have produced similar experiences all over the world.

The spookiness will continue with Eerie Tales in the Courtyard, performed by Spotlight Theatre, where guests will be able to enjoy refreshments from the Clock Tower Café, and watch, listen and be prepared to be entertained.

There will also be Mystical Tarot Card readings:  an opportunity to take a chance with fate with Tarot Card readers, who will be offering guests a personal Tarot Card reading to explore the mystic arts and peek into their future.

Provided by Mystic Spellpot, the Tarot Card readers will be offering a five-card read in the courtyard area. Additional charges of £5 per person apply for Tarot Card readings (cash only).
