Safeguarding Adults Week runs 20-24 November, and partners from the East Riding and Hull Safeguarding Adults Boards have together developed a programme of learning events and interactive sessions to support this year's week and the work of the Ann Craft Trust.

Safeguarding partners have planned a programme of learning events, seminars and interactive sessions including fraud and cyber awareness, carers information and support, Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) wellbeing services awareness and learning from domestic homicide reviews.

The sessions have been designed to stimulate discussion, spark innovation, and share best practice. Each session will be delivered by inspirational and motivational speakers, all of whom are experts in their field.

Some sessions are open to professionals working in the safeguarding sector, other sessions are open to anyone who wants to learn more.

Kay Durrant, Chair of the East Riding and Hull Safeguarding Adults Boards said: "Our aim is to help everyone to understand the part they play in protecting adults and ensure even the most vulnerable are kept safe and well. We want this week of action to encourage organisations and individuals to consider their role in safeguarding adults - as safeguarding is everyone's responsibility."

The full programme of events is available to view and book via Eventbrite: https://eryc.link/ERSAB
