Following Paul Anderson’s decision to retire, The Police and Crime Commissioner has started the search for the next Chief Constable of Humberside Police.
The job advert states:
“We are seeking a leader able to continue to drive excellence in performance and ensure
the force realises its maximum potential. The latest PEEL report highlighted
investigating crime as ‘requires improvement’, this is something our new Chief
Constable must strive to significantly improve.”
“Whilst performance is consistently good there is the ongoing challenge of ensuring the communities we serve truly feel the benefit of a high performing force. Our next leader should come ready to build further
the trust of the community in the police, putting the community at the heart of policing to
ensure legitimacy.”
The role pays more than £170,000 per year.
The deadline for applications is Sunday 2nd February.
