Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust and their charity Health Stars are bringing back their Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Grants to Hull and East Yorkshire.
Trust Charity, Health Stars, have £200,000 available to give away to local organisations that work to improve the mental health and wellbeing of adults in the community. These qualifying organisations can apply for any amount between £250 and £5000.
Anita Green, Health Stars Charity Manager said: “We are proud to support local organisations through our Community Grant Scheme. Last year we funded some lovely projects including therapeutic craft workshops to improve mental health and a film club aimed at reducing isolation.
“We can’t wait to see what amazing projects people we can help fund to create healthier and happier communities in Hull and East Yorkshire.”
Applications will be considered from any community or voluntary sector organisation that can evidence how they are making a difference to improving the way in which adults and communities manage their emotional health and wellbeing and can evidence improvements to mental and physical health.
There is no deadline to apply for the funding, but Health Stars will close the opportunity once the amount of £200,000 has been reached, so organisations are encouraged to complete their application as soon as possible. Application forms can be accessed on their website and anyone with further questions can email hnf-tr.communitygrants.nhs.uk for more information.
