Students across the East Riding are today, Thursday 13 August, receiving their A-Level, T-Level and BTEC results.
Steve Ostler, Headteacher at Hornsea Sixth Form said:
“We pride ourselves on offering a broad, supportive and ambitious environment where every student is empowered to achieve their full potential.
“To see one-third of all grades hit the highest bands possible with A*/A or equivalent, and to have our A-Level results place us in the top 25% of schools nationally is a phenomenal achievement for our entire school community.
“We wish all our outgoing Sixth Formers the very best as they start their exciting next chapters.”
Councillor Victoria Aitken, cabinet member for children, families and education said:
“I want to congratulate all our students as they receive their results.
“I hope they are delighted with their achievements, and I wish them every success for the future, whether they are continuing their education, starting an apprenticeship or training programme, or taking the next step into employment.
