Hornsea Carnival organisers have thanked local people as they announced a fundraising total of £6,064.80.
The money was raised as follows:
Parade Collection Buckets – £2,177.76
Alan’s Tuk-Tuk Rides – £889.14
Phoenix Axe Throwing – £142.00
Annie Plant Hook-a-Duck – £171.90
Floral Hall Saturday Night – £1,530.00
Online Donations – £1,154.00
Total Raised: £6,064.80
Organisers said:
“Every coin dropped into a bucket, every QR code scanned, every ticket bought and every activity enjoyed helps keep this incredible community tradition alive… To raise over £6,000 is something we are incredibly proud of, and that’s entirely down to YOU.”
Every single penny raised goes into funding next year’s event.
