The annual Yorkshire Cancer Research fundraiser ‘We Walk For Yorkshire’ sees fundraisers across the region clock up a shared 35,000 miles of walking in May – a mile for every person in Yorkshire who is given a cancer diagnosis each year.
Dr Kathryn Scott, CEO of the charity, told us how this year’s fundraiser would begin in Hull with a ‘Baton For Yorkshire’ relay:
