To celebrate National Year of Reading, East Riding Libraries is partnering with Noise Academy to bring the Mobile Music Lab to Withernsea.
Young people can jump on the decks, try out keyboards and synths, and create beats inspired by favourite stories and characters. No experience is needed.
Through DJing, music production and creative technology, Noise Academy provide hands-on learning experiences that help young people build confidence, develop practical skills and discover what they’re capable of.
These family-friendly, free events also give participants the chance to turn a book into a DJ mix, make a soundtrack for a story, or have a go at rap and beatboxing.
The Mobile Music Lab will be in the East Rising Leisure Withernsea car park between 12 noon and 4pm on Saturday 10th October.
There is no need to book, just drop in anytime.
