The commemorative beacon lighting, marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day will take place on Thursday 8th May.
Residents are invited to gather near the beacon in front of The Hub on the seafront from 9pm. The beacon will be lit at 9.30pm.
A combined choir from the town will be performing.
