East Riding of Yorkshire Council has confirmed that funding has been allocated in the 2026/27 Local Transport Plan budget for new dropped crossings with tactile paving in the Withernsea area.
Around seven locations can be delivered, depending on the work required at each site.
Withernsea Town Council has been asked to gather suggestions from residents about where these improvements would be most helpful.
