Coronavirus: McDonald's reveals full list of drive-throughs reopening today

May 20, 2020

McDonald's has revealed the full list of its drive-through restaurants reopening across the UK and Ireland from Wednesday.

Service is resuming at 33 of the fast-food chain's UK sites - and six in Ireland, which are all in Dublin - between 11am and 10pm.

Customers will be limited to a maximum spend of £25 per car and all will be asked to use contactless payment.

The locations join some sites that had already reopened for delivery only, with a limited menu.

McDonald's previously said it planned to reopen all of its drive-through sites by early June, in line with government coronavirus guidelines.

As it gets back to some form of business, the company has introduced safety measures including contactless thermometers for staff, Perspex screens and protective equipment.

Smaller menus have been in place so that kitchen staff can more easily adhere to social distancing rules.
