The scenic village of Market Weighton.

Market Weighton is a small market town and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire which lies midway between Hull and York, about 20 miles from either one and 34 miles from Withernsea.

Like Withernsea, Market Weighton no longer has a train station, and the last train ran in 1965.

In May of each year, the locals take to the streets of Market Weighton for 'Giant Bradley Day in a celebration of the life and times of William Bradley, the tallest ever Briton.

Market Weighton is home to several supermarkets, a post office, three butcher's shops, two estate agents & auctioneers, two charity shops, a bakery, a florists and greengrocers shop, a newsagents, a stationery shop, a coffee shop and now its very own community radio station - Vixen101.
