BCB is the community radio station for Bradford and the Aire Valley.

In its 12 year existence, BCB has won a Gold Sony Radio Academy Award in the 2003 "Nations & Regions" award for Yorkshire & The North East and The Community Harmony Awards in 2004 for "Community Service" in Bradford.

BCB is funded by the Home Office "Connecting Communities" project, Bradford City Council, Neighbourhood Renewal, Big Lottery Fund, European Regional Development Fund, European Social Fund and DEFRA.
