In September East Yorkshire Motor Services were planning to axe the Saturday journeys on the 173/174/175 to Burton Pidsea. EYMS have today said that these services will now no longer be withdrawn, and the service will continue as normal.

Full changes from 1st September 2008

New services to Victoria Dock - Service 90 will be replaced by Services 46 & 49.
Improved Service 154 to Castle Hill.
Service 50 to Marfleet - This service will now not be withdrawn, and will continue as normal.
Service 1A Sibelius Road - This service will now not be withdrawn, but will run with a reduced timetable and altered route.
Service 41 to Bilton Grange - Route and timing changes.
Service 246 to Hornsea - Slight timing changes.
BAE Service 602 - This service will be withdrawn.
Service 135 Driffield - This service will now not be withdrawn, but there will be minor timing changes.
Services 173/174/175 Burton Pidsea - The Saturday journeys on these services will now no longer be withdrawn, and the service will continue as normal.
Service 744 - Minor timing changes.
Services 33/34/44/45/47 and 115 - On journeys from Hull Paragon Interchange these services will go via Park Street to Spring Bank, instead of via Ferensway.
Service 270 - Some journeys will be withdrawn and replaced by other operators under contract to East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
Service 530 - This service will no longer be operated by East Yorkshire.

Driffield - Temporary bus stops

On Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 August there will be several road closures in Driffield due to the Honda event taking place at Driffield Showground. There will be delays to some services passing through the town, and there will be some temporary bus stops in place. Posters will be put up in the buses with further details.

Eastrington - Road closure

From 15 September there will be a diversion in place for Services 155 and 156 at Eastrington as Pinfold Lane Bridge will be closed for repairs. Some bus stops around Gilberdyke and Eastrington will not be served for the duration of the diversion. See the on-bus posters for more details.

Bank Holiday

If you're out and about on the Bank Holiday of 25 August, remember that all East Yorkshire and Scarborough & District buses will be operating to a Sunday timetable. Contact BusCall for more details.
