This is Dan again, and yes yet again he's being an anorak!

The 'thing' behind him is the Belmont Transmitting Mast, the tallest structure in Europe. Dan loves the things so much that he has set up a Facebook Group called 'UK Transmitter Enthusiasts and I am not involved what so ever, nor did I take this picture, nor do I have pictures of beautiful transmitters on my bedroom wall.

Yes, I know it's a bit sad but you really have to think about it like this, if it wasn't for this beast you wouldn't be watching any telly and some of the radio stations in the area wouldn't be on air! Me and Dan decided we'd go and admire it's beauty (!) one evening....then it was down to a nice country pub!
