On air now: The Full Fat Breakfast
Mike Brown's Pub Of The Week: The Triton Inn in Brantingham.

Howdy!
It's time for another one of my recommendations on my Pub Of The Week. This time around it's The Triton Inn in Brantingham, although we have mentioned this establishment before, it has never had the title of Pub Of The Week, so I will now right that wrong!
The Triton Inn is located between Elloughton and South Cave on Ellerker Road, which is just off the A63. Now, although it sounds a little tricky to It find, it is actually worth tracking down for the relaxing views alone, it's just nice to chill out sometimes isn't it?!
We chose to sit in the recently renovated 'Poseidon's Restaurant', which is a comfy and relaxed area of the triton inn and it even has it's own grand piano. On this occasion, I decided not to tinkle the ivories!
I ordered at the bar and a happy, smiley, waitress came quickly with our food. It was all well presented and came on big plates, and when I say big I mean big! I had the Steak and Ale pie, which was served in a rich, thick gravy with a large portion of 'chip shop style' chips on the side (oh yeah, and some green salad type stuff, which I occasionally poked at. I'm no rabbit!). It was good, and a nice change from the usual microwave meals you get at certain other restaurants, or should I say pubs trying to be restaurants!
I washed it all down with a nice pint of locally produced Wold Top bitter which I'm told is what was used in the Steak and Ale. Hic!
So, if you like scenic views, good food and real ale, then the Triton is for you!
