On air now: Run Lola Run
Last weeks show and this weeks stuff!

Howdy sweet cheeks!
Welcome to my regular show round up and other news from The Mike Brown Radio Show.
So, it was my first show after my wee break Yesterday and as usual it was a good laugh a we played some right little corkers! I managed to track down a copy of the song "Here Come The Girls", which you may well have heard on the Boots advert on the telly. Anyway, when I played it I got a few phone calls asking who the singer was, but as I was on my own this week it was a bit of a rush to talk to you properly. The track is by Ernie K Doe and I'll probably play it again this week as I think it's a stonker!!
Also on the show, we had Paul Grey on the dog and bone after his marathon stint with Martin Pritchett in aid of RNLI. I asked him if he was resting after his 24 hours broadcast, but he said it was all a bit of a breeze really and he couldn't understand what the fuss was about! Well good on ya Paul, maybe you can do the through the night show every night?
We attempted to link up with Franklin at Glastonbury, but either his battery had gone or he was enjoying himself too much as we couldn't get through. I left him some messages on air but he never got back to us for some reason! Maybe he's lying in a pool of his own vomit somewhere or maybe he was the victim of Amy Winehouse's fist on Saturday Night! Did anyone see that? Basically, Amy Winehouse came down from the stage into the area in front of the crowd and began letting them take pictures and shake her hand or whatever. One fan tried to touch her hair, so she hit them! It wasn't a gently tap either, it was a proper punch she threw! Today, her friends have been defending her saying that they groped her first.

You may have noticed some new pics on the SFM website with folk who have been on the show. Some of them are taken off site as I believe it makes the photos look a bit more colourful and interesting rather than the usual studio shot....OK, it's just an excuse to go to the pub alright!

P.S You may have noticed that one of our presenter is leaving SFM for pastures new. So, I'd like to thank Dave Kitch for his sport reports, his bad Father Christmas impression and other input into the show. Good luck and get yer backside back to Withernsea soon!
