Major coast search

A major coastal search took place late on Tuesday night, with three lifeboats and coastguards from the Humber area joining forces.

At around 11.30pm, Humber Coastguard recieved reports of a man seen entering the water off Skipsea. They later requested the launch of the Hornsea Rescue boat and the Bridlington Lifeboats, to search the beach between Skipsea and Skirlington.

The search was called off in the early hours of Wednesday morning and nothing was found.
